Shrimping (as known in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu) or Epi (as known in Judo) is the act of moving your hip when you are on your back. Shrimping/Epi (from now on I will just referred to it as Shrimping) is an essential skills. Especially if you are new to the sports of grappling or not as strong as your opponent.
Shrimping at first when practice feels very foreign and un-natural. But in time it with practice it will become second nature.
