There are so many mixed martial arts events taking place so frequently that I get emails, phone calls or text messages from different promoters asking if I have any fighters that are able to fight on their shows almost every 2 weeks.

Training fighters is not difficult. Training my students to be great human being and represent my school and what I teach is hard.

I can’t remember which movies I saw this in, but there was a sensei that trained his disciple very well. They had nothing to prove or fear when it came to physical violence. They know their greatest enemies are within themselves.

I don’t always get students who are so anxious to compete in mixed martial arts when they lack the physical and mental awareness that one seek when one is fighting.

Fighting for the sake of fighting is primitive. Become a martial artist first, then you will acquire the clarity to fight at the highest level if god chose to bless you with the right genetic make up.

Becoming a martial artist require that you seek guidance or mentorship. Training with other young alpha instructors will get you instant gratification and bravado that will lead to immature understanding of how one need to navigate in the universe.
