Memorial Day Clean Up

26. May, 2009 · Filed Under grand opening

I spent just the last few days cleaning up our new gym. Moving as many exercise and gym equipments out as possible, and vacuuming the place up. The carpets are filthy. I must have dumped out 10 canisters of vacuums.

Anyways, we are super excited. We are going to officially open on Monday June 1, 2009.

Please check out our promo page to take advantage of out Grand Opening Special.

Check out some of the latest photo of our gym.

Compare to 2 weeks ago, we had made a lot of progress. We have hung up 5 punching pages. The wrestling mats are ready to roll out. The storage room is cleared out. And the shower stalls has a new shower curtains. Another 30 hours of clean up and maintenance and I think we are good to go. We have about 4 more large professional gym equipments to move out and we are good to go. I am hopping that we can get that out by Thursday.

Testimonial

I personally attended and participated in all of the classes Mong provided to the USA-IFKK. I would like to strongly profess that Mong is a qualified, knowledgeable, and empathetic instructor. I witnessed him work with classes of twenty students or more and classes as small as four students. He has the ability to quickly read the class and modify his lesson on the fly to meet the needs of his students. For each class Mong arrived with a set of objectives and a general plan. His general plan allowed for beginner and advanced students. Each class was made of students with varied levels of ability, yet each class ended with new skills and insight for everyone. All classes had one common theme, safety. Mong passed along years of experience in several lessons. He demonstrated each technique, showed the dangers of not doing a technique right, and shared stories of what could go wrong when teaching techniques to students.
