Sambo in The NY Times!

I just got an email from Stephen Koepfer, President, American Sambo Association.

Hi all,
This Friday or Saturday, the New York Times will be publishing an fairly comprehensive article on Sambo. The Times will cover history, Sambo’s role in MMA, growth of the sport in the US, etc. Interviews with many noted athletes appear including Fedor Emilianenko and David Rudman. Also noted in the piece are ASA members Alexander Barakov, Serge Gerlach, Dayn DeRose, Gregg Humphreys, and myself. Additionally, the times has produced a companion video for their website as well as a photo slide show. Much of the video has been filmed at New York Combat Sambo. Read more
