Aiden Cushman @ 7th Annual Sensei Jim Grafe Memorial Karate Tournament

I would like to congratulate Aiden Cushman, a 4th grader at the Lyons Elementary School – After School Martial Arts Program funded by the Advantage After School Program. Aiden competed in the 7th Annual Sensei Jim Grafe Memorial Karate Tournament. Aiden was not originally one of 4 students invited to be part of the Young Lions Competition Team early in February 2009 but tag along with his older brother Sebastian. He has been training consistently, only missing a few training session.

In his two matches, Aiden loss to a much bigger and more experience opponents. I am sure with more training and experiences Aiden will do much better at the next Karate tournament.
