Our Motto

Furinkazan literally means “Wind, Forest, Fire and Mountain”, a battle standard used by the Sengoku period daimyo Takeda Shingen, quoting The Art of War in Chapter 7: “Move as swift as a wind, stay as steady as forest, attack as fierce as fire, unmovable defence like a mountain.”
Chapter 7 Maneuvering
17: Let your rapidity be that of the wind, your compactness that of the forest.
18. In raiding and plundering be like fire, is immovability like a mountain.
